A lot of women have the entrepreneurial spirit but fail to pursue their dreams of working for themselves. Being expected to perfectly wear several hats simultaneously and tirelessly, these women are weighed down with reasons and fears not to begin their own businesses.
Or for those who have gone past their fears, starting out overworked and underpaid is a common scenario.
In this competitive age of online businesses, how do you get started pursuing your passion of building your own enterprise?
Our guest in this episode began her business ventures in 2002 as a broke single mom making graphics and creating websites for home-based business owners. Working hard with long hours she soon realized she charged too little for her time and talents.
Kelly McCausey eventually started working smarter instead of harder, discovered better ways to build an income online, and founded Love People + Make Money. Kelly blogs, podcasts, creates information products and runs a membership program. Now, she has a six-figure online business running a membership program and hosting live retreats (on the beach!) for female entrepreneurs to help them build up their communities and businesses.
In this first part of a two-part series, we’ll explore Kelly’s rags to riches story and how you can work smart to develop multiple, many passive, revenue streams in your business.
